Sculpture in Schools2001 to present Since October 2001 Philip has gone into schools in Buckinghamshire and Hertfordshire to teach one-off art lessons covering various Units from the Qualification and Curriculum Authority (2000). He has worked with schoolteachers to deliver 'What is Sculpture?' - Unit 1C from QCA 2000 for schools in the UK. He has taught children from Reception to Year 6, aged 5 years to 11 years. Children used collected natural and waste materials to create their artwork. They were inspired by well-known artists working in the same materials. |
