In the summer of 2002, and again in 2003, the artist created sets of images recording his work with a model in a studio. In each session he used a different model to produce a similar series of photographs, line drawings and painted images. Each session followed a similar routine of poses and making methods. Each set of images is a detailed record of the time he worked with the models, endeavoring to captue the nature of the model and reach beneath the surface of the skin. They document a process or performance. They are not the result of attempting to create an ideal image.
